吐納 ‧ 靜坐

腹式呼吸 (diaphragmatic breathing) ︰人類睡覺時的呼吸,習武之人平時的呼吸法。

鍛鍊橫膈膜呼吸時,宜以鼻呼吸,切忌以口吸氣。鼻腔溫暖、濕潤,專責過濾空氣,令進入氣管的空氣溫度適中、濕潤和較清潔,減低對氣管的刺激。

以鼻吸氣能阻隔塵埃,也是對抗細菌的第一度防線。

噘唇呼吸法 (pursed lip breathing)
緩慢地從鼻孔深深吸氣
從皺起的嘴唇緩慢呼氣

To do pursed lip breathing: Relax your neck and shoulder muscles. Breathe in for two seconds through your nose, keeping your mouth closed. Breathe out for four seconds through pursed lips. If this is too long for you, simply breathe out twice as long as you breathe in.

當頭向左偏時,頸部右邊肌肉是緊的;當頭向右偏時,頸部左邊肌肉是緊的;當低頭時,頸部後邊肌肉是緊的;當仰頭時,頸部前邊肌肉是緊的;若當頭正不偏不倚時,頸部四周肌肉是鬆的。此時整個重量若於頸椎上,頸椎骨頭支撐整個頭部,頭部重量向下,得到一個反作用力向上,如此頭部的感覺如同頂上有一線懸著,謂之頂頭懸。

從物理角度來看,頭部重量向下,便會得到一個反作用力向上,稱為"作用力---反作用力對"。

雙盤膝︰筋骨柔軟的人適用,就是把左腳小腿架在右股上面,使左腳掌和右股略齊,再把右腳小腿牽上,架在左股上面;這時候兩腳掌向上,兩股交叉,好像三角形,這叫做"雙盤膝"。這種雙盤膝姿勢,不容易學,不必勉強。
