The Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) is an assessment test administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) on behalf of the Education Bureau (EDB) since 2004. The TSA is designed to provide objective data on students’ performances in the three subjects of Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics at the end of Key Stages 1-3. Based on the assessment results of schools, teachers can then adjust their teaching plans to enhance student learning.
The Pre-Secondary One Hong Kong Attainment Test (Pre-S1 HKAT) is an optional test conducted by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) on behalf of the Education Bureau (EDB). The test is designed to help secondary schools identify the strengths and weaknesses of their Secondary One (S1) entrants in Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics so that appropriate support measures could be introduced. The Pre-S1 HKAT is usually conducted in July.
