太極推手

十多歲時，和師公玩太極推手。他說我力氣大，其實是指我不懂運力。一般人攻擊自己，用眼睛看大概就可以捉到路。但他的力不能以目測，也不能以雙手的接觸輕易辨位。往往兩三下，我便會失去重心。當日他年紀已經很大，他對我說不用留力。然而，我這不懂功夫的青年人想令他跌倒，根本是沒可能。實則虛之，虛則實之，虛虛實實，我的攻勢他看得一清二楚，如果他認真起來，借力打力，一定跌倒在地，所以他對我應該留力不少。

吳家太極一百零八式，分為四段。當年師公曾經教授過我十多式。大師兄說我某一招不正確，師公便說首要是培養興趣，細節遲一些再教導。家姐沒有去學，因為她想學太極劍，不過學劍前要先學太極拳。後來，功課忙碌，武功荒廢了。這麼多年來，我只懂第一段。爸爸時常說我這一式不妥當，那一招如果這樣耍，敵人便可以怎樣乘虛而入。媽媽經常說我亂耍，喜歡怎樣耍就怎樣耍。但是，父母不同嚴師，一直沒有嚴格訓練過自己。

中七某一天，家人說師公急性肺炎入院，不久便安詳離世。有天，大師兄問我會否出席喪禮，當時我正在準備高級程度會考，拒絕了他。今天回想起都有點後悔，上炷清香要多少時間？雖然我和師公沒有血緣關係，但他一直都很疼愛我。我小時候很笨拙，到現在的手腳協調很差，師公卻對我說我很像他，想必是希望鼓勵我，可是我太重視功課。

職場是非

筆者喜歡默默耕耘。以工作為例，覺得收了一份糧，不會馬虎。眼見年輕的副店長以小聰明偷懶，雖然看不過眼，如果不是太過份，自己不會去刻意批評。扮工一族多得很，如果對他們生怒、生氣，到頭來苦的只是自己，我才沒有那麼愚蠢。偷懶的同事將工作一點一點轉移到自己身上，我能力所及都不會推搪，多一份工作，便會學懂多一些。

可是，我剛轉至此店工作時，店長便想將副出納的工作從自己轉到我的身上，又叫我先考慮。我問商務出身的本店同事，他們每一位初來報到，店長都曾出口，希望將副出納的工作推到他們身上。我又問過別店的一位友好同事，他在書店工作很久，他一聽到這一位店長將此工作不斷推卸，事有蹊蹺。翌日，我拒絕了他，他在早會上立時黑面。

之後的日子，我從主收和跟單工作，慢慢轉移至管理中文書某幾個分類，又做一些貨務工作。然而，新來的主收時常做不長，今次請來的年輕人更是文盲，中英數都很差，猶如一個小學生，沒有禮貌，對客人態度惡劣。店長表明不會讓他通過試用期。

筆者為人迂腐，阿諛奉承的話不懂說，是非暗地裡總有說了幾句。所以，店長給我的評語是「不懂溝通」。但是，對於工於心計、喜歡使橫手的人，說多一句都嫌多。因此，我們的對話總離不開工作。我之前在工作上遇到困難，他不在店時我會問別店同事，以處理公事。他便覺得我越權，不尊重他。如此心空狹窄之人，難矣哉！幸好，區域經理是一位實幹型的上司，和自己相似，雖然不是很稔熟，但有種惺惺相惜的感覺。

當書店未打疫苗的同事也積極考慮接種時，店長還堅拒打針。他告訴我看過外國報導，表示Omicron 和傷風感冒無異，當真是知識貧乏不堪。他在後場工作時拖低口罩，別的同事在同一位置吃飯，簡直是不負責任至極。這不可一世，自以為是的態度，真是神憎鬼厭。
