To keep the probe clean, a disposable cover should be used. Use a new probe cover each time you take an ear temperature.

四環九約

1842年英國割佔香港島，並在香港建立殖民地政府後，港島的市政建設相繼展開。隨著第一條馬路－皇后大道沿港島北岸建成，濱臨海港的地段率先發展起來，至十九世紀後期範圍包括了今西環、上環、中環和下環 (今灣仔)，取名維多利亞城。中環是政治和經濟的心臟地帶，海旁及沿山興建了不少歐式建築物；西環和上環是華人主要聚居地，滿佈了一排排的「唐樓」；而下環海濱 一帶則是環境優美的住宅區，倉庫林立。維多利亞城被華人統稱為「四環九約」。
