《孫子兵法》殘簡釋文
「威行於眾，嚴行於吏，三軍信其將畏(威)者，乘其適(敵)。」
大意︰「將帥要在部眾面前樹立威信，對屬吏要嚴格執行紀律，全軍卒吏都信服將帥的威嚴，這樣就能戰勝敵人。」
話說放年假前兩天，我收到一所中學的訂書簽收文件。我在早會完結前提出工作交接，希望另一位同事幫忙處理這項訂書工作。我一提出這項要求，就被直屬上級罵到狗血淋頭。如果我只有這項工作，當然可以在長假前完成，問題是我有多項工作需要同時跟進。上級罵完我後，他/她親自替我在本店找該訂書單的現貨。他/她又幫我看守收銀處，讓我做其他工作。不久，電腦 share drive 死了又復生，我在收銀處再處理訂書單的本地訂購、台訂及分店轉書。其實，又不是行軍打仗，為什麼要立軍威？更惡的上級我都遇過，我仍舊選擇沉默是金，費事激到人爆血管。做這間公司有個好處，如果不是犯下大錯，不會被解雇。不過直屬上司近來都不重用我，想有什麼職位上的升遷，都係諗多左。

專注的訓練
在書店工作之前，我曾經到旺角學習普通話。當時，我選擇沒有考試壓力的興趣班。最近一年，我又以那時的教材重新自修。要根據圖畫用舌頭怎樣怎樣發音，完全辦不到。剛過去的一兩個月，我在分店以員工價買下《南人北語》初中高，每個例休日子都堅持學習。初級教材的難度已經達到興趣班的高級課程。每次到了拼音知識及練習部分，我完全 catch up 不到，總有點氣餒。我這個年紀，語言學習能力一定比幼稚園學生遜色，只能將勤補拙。忘記了拼音可以再學，如同英文文法，如同中文語法。學習當中，我亦有所得著︰專注力的訓練。約一個小時的聆聽、試讀過程中，專心一志，心思集中。我們平日工作，雜念太多是個大忌。但是，專注以外還要留意周遭發生的事情，說起來不容易，先決條件是需要有優質充足的睡眠。
