小學時期,英文老師教我們學寫正楷英文字。掌握正楷英文字後,老師便教導我們寫潦草英文字。學懂潦草字後,老師沒有再要求我們寫正楷。有天,一位代課老師對我們說︰「大部分香港學生都是用以正楷寫英文。」她隨即受到整班同學「圍攻」。那位代課老師沒有撒謊,因為我自己由中學時期到現在都是用正楷。潦草英文字不是主流,但我現在還記得有個大學同學寫潦草英文字很美,還受到同窗讚賞。
