中下產二代
爸爸學歷不高，他從前是紡織技工，憑藉自己的勞力，晉升至管理層，現在於內地任紡織工廠的生產部經理。他供錢給我讀書，因為種種原因，如本人的健康問題，我用上七年學費、八年光陰才完成大學課程。同學眼紅我不用向政府借錢還錢。然而，畢業後，在老師的勸告下，沒有正式擔任註冊護士。有人在知情的情況下說我浪費政府資源，我一笑置之。
在社會不斷碰釘，有一段時間失業、開工不足，幸好有一位親戚聘請我做文書工作，為履歷表填補一下吉白。後來，在勞工處「青年就業起點」和社工的協助下，找到現時這份工作，轉眼快將一年。在大學書店裡當一位客戶服務員，工作算是愉快，但工時長，薪金微薄，車費飯錢又貴，能給家人的錢不多，所給的家用其實不夠租我家的一間房。而且我的藥費一點也不便宜，所以我決定明年看公立。
爸爸下星期便六十歲，理應是退休的年紀。然，縱使他有心想繼續工作，也不是必然的事，因為內地減排的力度越收越緊。爸媽說要換樓套現省差餉，我向母親提議做逆按揭，但媽媽說怕我老來沒屋住，此話讓我慚愧不堪。她還說賣樓套現後供我再讀書做另一行專業，但我覺得現在的我不可以再靠家人的錢讀書，況且學校都未必一定收我。
富二代成功靠父幹，中上產可以不用靠政府過活，基層有「關愛」，我們這些中下產只能自求多福，力爭上游。最後要補充的一點，我和父親的關係不是錢銀關係這麼簡單。記得有一段時間我和媽媽同時有重病，他一個人撐起一頭家，一句怨言也沒有，他是一個真正的男人，是我的模仿對象。

enamel and xylitol
We morphologically (形態上) determined the effects
of xylitol on the remineralization of artificially demineralized enamel. The
samples were demineralized and then immersed in a re-mineralizing solution with
or without 20% xylitol at 37°C for 2 weeks. Samples were observed using contact
microradiography, a multipurpose image processor (MIP) and a high-resolution
electron microscope (HRTEM). Contact microradiography indicated that
remineralization occurred in the surface and deep layers of samples immersed in
a non-xylitol solution. Samples immersed in a xylitol solution demonstrated less mineralization in the outer 10 micron
of the outermost surface layers, but more mineralization in the middle and deep
layers, than was observed in the non-xylitol samples. The MIP evaluation
indicated that remineralization was more
prominent in layers at depths of 50-60 micron in the xylitol samples than
in the non-xylitol samples. Observation of the xylitol samples by HRTEM
revealed crystals of various sizes and irregular shapes with unclear crystal
angles in the outermost surface layers. In the middle layers, they had
thickened and angles of crystals are clear. These results indicate that xylitol can induce remineralization of
deeper layers of demineralized enamel by facilitating Ca2+ movement and
accessibility.
