The basic difference in way English-speaking Westerners and people from some Asian countries think about the way that running a business or a company should be structured. People who grow up and are educated in Asia learn to value teamwork in the workplace. To them, organizations and groups are important, and it is also important to conform (符合) as a group to company policies. Business decisions made by a group, and group agreement, are valued and put into practice. Westerners, on the other hand, place much more value on the independence of the individual, believing that group organization is not the way to progress.
