Don't use antiseptic soap to shower

身在亞熱帶的香人看畢以下報導,相信還會每天淋浴,但我不建議你用有消毒效能的沐浴露。

According to Dr Elaine Larson, an infectious disease expert at Columbia University School of Nursing, you only need to shower once or twice a week.

She added, ‘Bathing will remove odour if you’re stinky (臭的) or have been to the gym. But in terms of protecting you from illness, washing your hands regularly is probably adequate.’

For example, cracked skin could allow germs to get in while constant showers could strip away (除去) healthy oils and good bacteria.

‘Hit your pits, butt and groin, which are the areas that produce strong-smelling secretions. The rest of your body doesn’t need much soaping.’ Dr. C. Brandon Mitchell, assistant professor of dermatology at George Washington University, says.

兒童的情況更甚,因為他們的免疫系統正在發展,理應適當地接觸細菌。
